1. We are exploring treatment solutions for breast and lung cancer. We are intensively searching for ways of increasing selectivity and reducing side-effects.
Among the results of our laboratory's work is the discovery of mRNAs that are able to reduce the proliferation of cancer cell lines. The combination of the found mRNAs and natural plant alkaloids (vincristine, topotecan, etc.) on cancer cell growth was also investigated.

1. We isolate active compounds from herbs, purify, describe and test for different types of activity. Also to increase activity, selectivity, bioavailability, variation of physico-chemical properties we design and work out ways of chemical and biological modification of isolated compounds.
1.1. Recent work includes the development of a method for supercritical fluid extraction of Phycoerythrin. A combination of conditions was found to produce a product with a purity of 91.67%. Phycoerythrin obtained in this way showed a dose-dependent decrease in cell viability, mitochondrial membrane potential and an increase in lactate dehydrogenase release.
2. We scale up manufacturing and processes for the chemical modification of natural compounds. We also have proven partners who have facilities for large-scale production.

We also have the capabilities to make the synthesis of compounds to order. In addition to ordering already published compounds for your own research, we also provide services to modify these compounds for specific applications (changing lipophilic properties and charge distribution in the compound, conjugation with drugs).
The desired compound can be obtained in the form of any salt (most commonly hydrochloric acid, succinic acid, oxalic acid salts are used). It is also possible to synthesize a library of compounds for QSAR/SAR analysis. Purity is confirmed by NMR and HPLC methods.
Besides the fact that we use as resources the methods of the article, we also have our own pool of unique, proprietary techniques that we use to obtain unique compounds that you can't order anywhere else.
We obtain compounds with both heterocyclic and aliphatic backbone. Under an additional agreement, we can also isolate all by-products, analyse them and report their structural formulas and mass ratios of the products.
Our Story
Initially, we started as a small research group that investigated ways of isolating medicinal compounds as gently and efficiently as possible from natural raw materials (plants, bacteria and fungi). We then began collaborating with biologists who were interested in pure chemical compounds for their experiments. It turned out that some of the compounds we isolated proved to be good in studies of anticancer agents. We decided that the two areas should be combined. Bionify thus employs biologists researching new cancer therapies in close cooperation with chemists, who are in constant search of new ligands among a variety of natural compounds.
